Zoom PS04 Palmtop Studio 4-Track Recorder

Feature:
Everything you need. But, you have to work to understand the functionality.

Quality:
It's not cast iron. If you are reasonably careful you won't have any problems.

Value:
Bought it with a 20% off coupon...$160 brand new. A true throw-away when I upgrade down the road.

Desirability:
I have a complete recording studio in the family room that is barely noticeable. With the speakers, I can fit the whole thing in a shoe box if I want to take it on vacation.

Sound:
sounds great with a cheap pair of Roland powered speakers.

Support:
Don't know yet.

Overall:
It will be obsolete in a few years, like most electronic gadgets. But, I'll get my money's worth before then and will have a decent second recording studio for travel or the kid's bedroom when she gets older. It does everything a recorder should do. I just wish I was a better musician!
